About Us

HPN was created as a strategic prayer network for the Hollywood Entertainment Industry. Ultimately, we want to see a revival in Hollywood and we believe it must begin with prayer. We also believe this will only happen by facilitating a global prayer ministry where Christians acknowledge Hollywood as the world’s most influential mission field and pray for the people in the Entertainment Industry.

We also are committed to have every Christian professional in Hollywood prayed for as a “tent-maker” by an intercessor outside of our workplace. If we are going to see change in people, one at a time, from the inside out, it must start with the love of Jesus and the prayers of His people. For with prayer for Hollywood comes cultural revival.

Hollywood Prayer Network’s commitment is to reach three specific groups of people:

1. Christians living outside of Hollywood who want to know how God is moving and working in Hollywood or who know He’s moving here and want to be a part of what He’s doing through prayer.

2. Christian media professionals living and working in the industry who need prayer support from the Christian community and the church.

3. Media professionals in Hollywood who don’t yet know the love and life-saving gospel of Jesus Christ and may only find Him through prayer.

HPN’s Prayer Goals: Only prayer can unite individuals, churches and para-church organizations across the world to recognize Hollywood as a mission field. HPN mobilizes them to pray for the Hollywood entertainment industry instead of hating the people here or boycotting it’s programming. Only prayer can lead the Christian Entertainment community into a closer relationship with the Lord and into closer unity with one another. Only prayer can lead more non-Christians to commit their lives to Jesus. Only prayer can impact Hollywood and its product.
HPN’s Prayer Strategy: We connect intercessors outside Hollywood with Christian Media professionals inside Hollywood as “I to I” Prayer Partners, so that every Christian in Hollywood will be prayed for by an intercessor somewhere around the world. We now have over 400 “I to I” partnerships. We open Local HPN Chapters all over the world in order to mobilize both prayer warriors and media professionals in cities across the globe. We currently have 14 local chapters in the US and three other countries.
We offer prayer events that mobilize Christians to pray, such as the National Day of Prayer evening at CBS Television and the National Media Prayer Breakfast in November for 1,000 prayer warriors and industry professionals. We also hold quarterly prayer gatherings and send out prayer requests in our monthly email newletter. We offer our free “The Hollywood Tribe ” documentary and Remote Prayer Stickers as educational tools for Christians outside of Hollywood in order to give them a vision of how God is working. We offer the “Incognito Prayer Team” which organizes prayer warriors around the world to pray for any Hollywood media influencers, celebrities or members of our community who may not yet know the Lord. We encourage and facilitate this team through email and we already have people of all ages and locations praying with us for God’s love to touch the hearts and lives of these people. We offer weekly Studio Prayer Walks on Friday’s from 12 – 1:00pm at a studio lot. Christian industry professionals gather on their lot or one close to them. They are invited by the lot’s Host, who organizes that week’s prayer, arranges his or her team to come on the lot and then oversees the prayer teams who walk around and pray. We believe the Studio Prayer Walks are changing the spiritual climate of the major Studio lots across the city. HPN is proud to say that great effort is always made to assure that our research, statistics, quotes, prayer requests and public relations are tasteful, accurate and non-judgmental. We strive to be positive and wise in our approach and prayerful in all our endeavors.
